Engineering Geologist - NSW Infrastructure
Matheus is an engineering geologist with over three years of experience in geological exploration, mining and tunnelling. His experience encompasses a variety of projects completed throughout South America, Europe and Australia. Matheus currently resides in Sydney, NSW, where he has been involved in underground tunnelling at Rozelle Interchange (WestConnex 3a). He is currently working as a consultant on various Infrastructure projects in NSW.
Matheus is adept at geological face mapping, rock mass classification, defect analysis, and endoscope reading and interpretation. He consistently maintains a safety mindset throughout all his work and has a high attention to detail. Matheus demonstrates professionalism in his readiness to take ownership of his projects, ensuring exemplary completion.
Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Engineering, Federal University of Pelotas (Brazil)
Post Graduate Diploma in Geotechnics, University of UniBF, Parana Brazil.
Outside of Matheus's professional life, he likes to enjoy spending his outside playing sports. Having both Italian and Brazilian passports, Matheus has a fond interest in cooking and enjoys catering a BBQ on weekends with friends and watching his favourite football team.
